Joyson Electronics partners with Jishi Media for V2X development in Jilin Province

On October 17, Joyson Electronics, a global leader in intelligent connective automotive solutions, announced that its subsidiary, JOYNEXT, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jishi Media.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 17, Joyson Electronics, a global leader in intelligent connective automotive solutions, announced that its subsidiary, JOYNEXT, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jishi Media, a media in Jilin Province. The two companies will collaborate in the field of integrated vehicle-road-cloud connectivity, aiming to advance the development of the V2X in Jilin Province.

As one of the first companies to mass-produce 5G-V2X cooperative vehicle-infrastructure systems, Joyson Electronics has developed an extensive technological portfolio, including onboard units (OBU) with 5G/V2X, roadside units (RSU), mobile edge computing (MEC), and cloud platforms. These technologies are not only integrated into mass-produced vehicles but also support the creation of a fully connected transportation ecosystem, contributing to the development of smart cities.

Its subsidiary JOYNEXT is among the first to mass-produce 5G+V2X vehicle-road coordination products. With a state-level lab in Ningbo city, JOYNEXT specializes in advanced connected vehicle technology and offers solutions in smart cockpits, V2X, and intelligent  driving.

Jishi Media, a state-owned cultural and technology company in Jilin, will leverage this partnership to enhance its capabilities in vehicle-road-cloud collaboration. Together, the two companies aim to create an intelligent v2x ecosystem in Jilin Province, exploring new innovations and fostering mutually beneficial growth.
