U.S. Primary Aluminum Output Rises 5% YoY in July, Reaching 57,000 Tons but Down 10.41% in First Seven Months

The output of primary aluminum in the United States increased by 5% year-on-year in July, reaching 57,000 tons, returning to the level of May. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the output of primary aluminum in June was 55,000 tons, while it was 64,000 tons in the same period last year. The cumulative output in the first seven months was 396,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.41%, compared with 442,000 tons in the same period last year.
