Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 10, smart LiDAR solution developer RoboSense announced its business performance for the third quarter of 2024, reporting a total LiDAR sales volume of approximately 138,600 units, marking a 134.9% year-on-year soar.

The company's automotive LiDAR sales reached around 131,400 units in the Jul.-Sept. period, indicating a 147% spike compared to the same period in 2023. In the same period, the company also sold around 7,200 units of LiDAR for robotics and other uses.

In September 2024 alone, RoboSense sold approximately 59,100 LiDAR units, with 57,500 units being for automotive applications and around 1,600 units for robotics and other uses.

By the end of September 2024, RoboSense’s total LiDAR sales for the year had reached approximately 381,900 units, of which 365,800 units were automotive LiDAR products and 16,100 units were for robotics and other industries.
