Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 10, Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance announced that cumulative fixed orders for the AITO M9 flagship SUV have surpassed 150,000 units in just over nine months since its market launch.

The AITO M9, jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, entered the market on December 26, 2023, offering both extended-range and pure electric versions. Available in Max and Ultra configurations, the M9 is priced between 469,800 yuan and 569,800 yuan.

Powered by Huawei's full-stack intelligent automotive technology, the M9 features advanced technologies such as the Tuling intelligent chassis, intelligent onboard lighting, and the Pangu AI large model, enhancing the vehicle’s performance and user experience.

On September 10, AITO introduced a new five-seat version of the M9. This version is available in three variants: the M9 Max Extended Range (starting at 469,800 yuan), M9 Ultra Extended Range (starting at 529,800 yuan), and the M9 Ultra Battery-electric (starting at 569,800 yuan).

The M9’s success marks a significant milestone for AITO as it continues to attract customers in the high-end new energy vehicle market.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
