Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Xiaomi EV recently announced that deliveries of its SU7 model surpassed 10,000 units in September, marking the fourth consecutive month that the company has achieved over 10,000-unit deliveries.

In October, Xiaomi EV aims to push its monthly delivery target to 20,000 units.

On the retail front, Xiaomi EV opened 17 new stores in September, bringing its total to 128 stores across 38 cities in China. The company also launched 17 Xiaomi EV service centers and authorized service centers, with plans to open 11 additional stores in October.

During a live broadcast a few days ago, Xiaomi's Chairman Lei Jun revealed that Xiaomi EV has been securing more than 4,000-unit locked orders per week since September, with delivery times now extending into February of next year. To meet growing demand, Xiaomi EV's factory will ramp up production in October, with a monthly target of 20,000 units.

The company expects to hit its annual goal of 100,000-unit deliveries ahead of schedule by November.

In early September, reports surfaced that Xiaomi EV's second-phase factory will be completed by the end of this year. In July 2024, Xiaomi invested 842 million yuan to acquire the industrial site for the second-phase factory in Yizhuang New Town. The facility will include three main production buildings and various supporting facilities. Once operational, Xiaomi EV's annual production capacity will reach 300,000 vehicles.
