Li Auto sees monthly vehicle deliveries zoom up 48.9% YoY in Sept. 2024

On October 1, 2024, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Li Auto released its delivery figures for September 2024, reporting 53,709 vehicles delivered in the month, a year-over-year surge of 48.9%.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 1, 2024, Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Li Auto released its delivery figures for September 2024, reporting 53,709 vehicles delivered in the month, a year-over-year surge of 48.9%.

In the third quarter of 2024, the company delivered 152,831 vehicles, reflecting a 45.4% year-over-year leap.

As of September 30, 2024, Li Auto's total deliveries for the year reached 341,812 vehicles, with cumulative deliveries totaling 975,176 units.

As of the same date, Li Auto had established 479 retail centers across 145 cities in China. The company also operates 436 after-sales service centers and authorized body and paint shops in 221 cities. In addition, Li Auto has deployed 894 own-brand supercharging stations nationwide, featuring 4,286 charging piles.

"With the penetration rate of new energy vehicles surpassing 50%, brand concentration is becoming more evident. In the third quarter, the top three brands in the NEV market for vehicles priced over 200,000 yuan now hold a 50% market share, with Li Auto commanding more than 17%, making it the best-selling Chinese auto brand in this segment. Orders for the Li Auto's L series and the MEGA have shown steady growth, with September deliveries reaching an all-time high, surpassing luxury brands Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi for the first time in a single week,” said Mr. Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto.

Mr. Li also revealed that in October, Li Auto is set to roll out its one-millionth vehicle, marking the first time a Chinese NEV startup reaches this milestone.
