24M Technologies Secures $87M Series H Funding, Boosting Valuation to $1.3B, Strengthening Global Battery Tech Leadership

U.S. solid-state battery technology company 24M Technologies announces the completion of Series H funding round at $87 million, led by Nuovo+ with participation from Kyocera, Asahi Kasei, DNP, Lucas TVS, and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. Following the completion of this funding round, 24M's post-investment valuation has reached $1.3 billion (approximately RMB 9.173 billion), further consolidating its leading position in the global battery technology field.

Shenhuo Group started construction of a 50,000-tonne-per-year high-performance aluminum foil project for sodium-ion batteries in Shangqiu, Henan on Sep 16. The project includes about 40,000 sqm of workshops and smart warehousing, with 1850mm and 2150mm foil rolling mills, producing 8-20μm foil for Na-ion cathodes and anodes over a 24-month build period. Output will cover power and energy storage batteries, complementing its existing lithium battery foil capacity for a dual-track lithium-sodium strategy.
