This survey involved 20 sample enterprises, with a total capacity of 722,000 mt per year, affecting zinc consumption by 4,949 mt. According to the SMM survey, in terms of holiday days, most enterprises will take 2-5 days off, with the majority closing from October 1 to October 3 and resuming work on October 4. The average holiday duration is about 2.8 days, down approximately 50% YoY from last year's average of 6 days. This is mainly because last year's National Day coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival, extending the holiday shutdown period. Although the operating rate improved MoM, actual consumption did not show peak season performance, and some enterprises may extend the holiday. Regarding inventory, zinc ingot stock days are generally around 2-3 days. A few enterprises, due to high zinc prices, did not purchase much raw material and indicated they would monitor today's zinc prices and adapt accordingly.
