Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 28, Changan Mazda officially launched the pre-sale of the MAZDA EZ-6 new energy sedan, with prices ranging from 160,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan. The EZ-6 lineup introduces a total of seven variants, including both battery-electric (BEV) and range-extended (REEV) models.
During the launch event, Changan Mazda unveiled its innovative "Yudian Zhixing" architecture (name in Chinese pinyin), the first pure electric vehicle technology framework from a joint venture in the Chinese new energy vehicle sector. This architecture supports two power modes: a BEV with a CLTC range of approximately 600 kilometers and a REEV capable of achieving a range of 1,301 kilometers. The EZ-6 features 3C quick charging capability, allowing users to recharge from 30% to 80% of the battery capacity in just 15 minutes, alleviating range anxiety.
The vehicle is equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon digital cockpit designed around user lifestyles. Inside, it offers a 10.1-inch HD digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch anti-glare floating screen, enhancing the technological ambiance. Options include zero-gravity seats with one-touch start or voice activation.
In terms of smart technology, the EZ-6 boasts five high-definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic radars, providing a comprehensive 360-degree view. It also features a leading 50-inch AR-HUD (Augmented Reality-Head Up Display) system and an L2.5 intelligent driving assistance system.
