[FAW Acquires Lishen] On September 25, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held a conference to promote the specialized integration of central enterprises, during which key projects were signed collectively, including the specialized cooperation project in the power battery field between FAW Group, China South Industries Group Corporation, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and China Chengtong Holdings Group. It is understood that FAW Group plans to invest in and hold a controlling stake in Lishen Qingdao, which belongs to China Chengtong Holdings Group, with China South Industries Group Corporation and Dongfeng Motor Corporation participating simultaneously to jointly build a leading state-owned power battery enterprise and accelerate the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle business of central enterprises.
