Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 26, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially put the AVATR 07 onto the market. Coming with six variants across all-electric (BEV) and range-extended (REEV) powertrains, the AVATR 07 is priced between 219,900 yuan and 289,900 yuan.

The AVATR 07 continues the brand's signature design with an elongated body and dynamic proportions, featuring one of the widest body structures in its segment. The vehicle's distinct front fascia includes the recognizable F-shaped lighting, contributing to its bold aesthetic.

Inside, the AVATR 07 offers zero-gravity front seats with 16-way electric adjustment, ventilation, heating, and massage functions. Rear passengers enjoy electric seat adjustment between 28 and 34 degrees, along with the debut of the AVATR LINK system, allowing control of air conditioning, lighting, and seat settings via a tablet.

The vehicle's interior length reaches 3,119mm, with a 500-liter trunk. A “one-button bed” function transforms the space into a flat 3-square-meter sleeping area.

The AVATR 07 features an advanced chassis system with Taihang Smart Control platform, including double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, both using aluminum alloy materials. Equipped with smart air suspension and CDC damping control, the model ensures a balance of comfort and handling.

Powered by Huawei's HarmonyOS 4.0 smart cockpit and Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving systems, the AVATR 07 delivers impressive tech integration. The BEV version boasts an 82kWh Shenxing Battery from CATL with 650 km of range, while the REEV version uses a 1.5T engine and CATL’s REEV-dedicated 39kWh battery, providing fast charging capabilities and enhanced efficiency.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
