SERES-backed Landian begins pre-sale of Landian E5 PLUS PHEV model

On September 26, Landian, a new energy vehicle brand under SERES Group, officially opened pre-sale of the newly upgraded second-generation Landian E5 model, namely, Landian E5 PLUS.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 26, Landian, a new energy vehicle brand under SERES Group, officially opened pre-sale of the newly upgraded second-generation Landian E5 model, namely, the Landian E5 PLUS, with prices set at 109,800 yuan for the 120 km Standard Range version and 119,800 yuan for the 165 km Long Range version.

Positioned as a "super urban electric hybrid SUV," the Landian E5 PLUS features comprehensive upgrades in aesthetics, interior design, powertrain, range, and smart technology. Customers who place a pre-order by October 17, 2024, can enjoy a special offer of a 2,000-yuan deposit that can be applied as a 10,000-yuan discount off the purchase price.

The Landian E5 PLUS is classified as a mid-sized SUV with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm. It is available in both five-seat and seven-seat layouts. The five-seat version boasts a rear legroom of 885 mm, providing ample space for a family outing, while the seven-seat variant offers a cargo volume of 1,694 liters when the second and third rows are folded down. Notably, the Landian E5 PLUS includes up to 33 storage compartments throughout the cabin, alongside a roof extension for additional cargo flexibility.

Front-row "soufflé" seats feature an eight-layer comfort design, with both the driver and passenger seats equipped with electric adjustments and heating/cooling functions. The cabin is enhanced by a sound system featuring 13 speakers.

The Landian E5 PLUS showcases a 15.6-inch full HD floating central touchscreen, boasting a 7H Mohs hardness rating for scratch resistance and anti-glare properties. The upgraded smart interface design is more user-friendly, incorporating HUAWEI HiCar 4.0 technology for seamless mobile app integration and access to a vast array of applications for entertainment and daily life.

Under the hood, the Landian E5 PLUS is powered by the DE-i plug-in hybrid electric system from SERES, delivering a peak power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 330 N·m, achieving 0-100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds. The long range version offers a battery-powered range of 165 km (CLTC), with a combined range of up to 1,300 km (CLTC) when fully fueled and charged. Additionally, the new model features an FSD adaptive suspension system that enhances ride comfort for all passengers.
