Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 25, Chery Auto put the 2025 version of the Tiggo 9 and Tiggo 9 C-DM models onto the market. The new vehicles start at 152,900 yuan for the gasoline version and 165,900 yuan for the hybrid C-DM version.

Inspired by nature, the 2025 Tiggo 9 embodies a "Natural Aesthetic" design. The front grille, designed to resemble a tiger's stance, gives the SUV a commanding presence, while the "tiger-eye" headlights enhance the powerful and sleek look.

The Tiggo 9 gasoline version is equipped with the Kunpeng 2.0T engine paired with an 8AT or 7DCT transmission, delivering a maximum torque of 400 Nm. It also offers a multi-terrain 4WD system with seven driving modes, ensuring a smooth driving experience across varied road conditions.

The Tiggo 9 C-DM hybrid electric version features the Kunpeng C-DM hybrid system, with a 1.5T hybrid engine boasting 44.5% thermal efficiency. The fuel consumption is as low as 4L per 100 km in depleted mode. The Tiggo 9 C-DM also offers a battery-powered range of 106 km under CLTC conditions and a combined range exceeding 2,000 km.

Both models come equipped with advanced features such as a 540° sensing system, SONY 14-speaker surround sound, C-PURE green cabin, and luxurious amenities like zero-gravity seats and AI-powered interactive systems. The cabin is installed with a 24.6-inch curved display and a 50-inch AR-HUD system, all powered by Qualcomm’s 8155 chip. Additionally, the 50W wireless phone charger allows users to recharge their phones to 50% in just 30 minutes.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
