SMM zinc ingot social inventory in seven regions decreased by 8,900 mt [SMM Data]

According to the SMM survey, as of Thursday, September 26, SMM zinc ingot inventory in seven regions was 106,700 mt, a decrease of 7,800 mt from September 19 and a decrease of 8,900 mt from September 23. Shanghai saw a significant reduction in inventory, with no improvement in zinc ingot arrivals during the week, pre-National Day downstream restocking and continuous pickup of pre-sold goods. Guangdong also recorded a reduction in inventory, with normal zinc ingot arrivals during the week and some downstream pre-holiday restocking purchases. Tianjin saw a reduction as well, with fewer arrivals at Tianjin warehouses during the week and continuous pre-holiday restocking by downstream enterprises. Overall, inventory in these three regions decreased by 8,100 mt and in seven regions decreased by 8,900 mt.
