Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, Dongfeng Motor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Tencent Cloud for vehicle-cloud integrated smart innovation ecosystem exploration.

Under this agreement, the two companies will collaborate across various fields, including intelligent cockpit, smart driving cloud maps, connected vehicle technologies, digital intelligent scenario library, smart vehicle control, smart computing platform, AI, and large models.

In terms of intelligent cockpit, the duo will leverage Tencent’s strengths in social, content, and entertainment ecosystems to bring richer in-car applications, transforming vehicles into a third living space for users. The companies will also promote the use of AI and large models, utilizing Tencent’s proprietary Hunyuan general-purpose model to explore multimodal sensing technology and create smarter in-car experiences.

For smart driving, Tencent will provide cloud-based and mapping technologies to support Dongfeng Motor in developing perception-driven autonomous driving solutions. Through Tencent’s autonomous driving compliance cloud and integrated cloud map services, they aim to build a complete data loop from development to mass production.

In connected vehicle technology, the partners will develop a high-performance, secure, and globally deployable intelligent network platform based on Tencent’s video, streaming, and communication capabilities.

Additionally, as Dongfeng Motor expands internationally, Tencent will support the automaker’s development of cockpit and connectivity platforms in overseas markets, ensuring data compliance and business success.
