Automotive intelligence company ExceedData closes Pre-B financing round

On September 23, automotive intelligence company ExceedData (SCT) announced the completion of its Pre-B financing round, which raised for the company tens of millions of yuan.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 23, automotive intelligence company ExceedData (SCT) announced the completion of its Pre-B financing round, which raised for the company tens of millions of yuan.

The financing round was led by BAIC Group Industrial Investment and followed by existing investor Rock Sparrow Investment. The funds will be used to accelerate the development of data intelligence applications and integrate its EXD automotive cloud data platform with AI-driven scenarios, said the company.

Founded in 2017, ExceedData is a national high-tech and specialized enterprise, with a team from leading companies like IBM and Teradata. The company specializes in providing data-driven solutions for automakers, focusing on database technology, edge computing, and foundational software to deliver full-stack vehicle-to-cloud computing solutions.

In 2022, ExceedData began mass production of its vehicle-cloud integrated computing solutions in China. To date, the company has collaborated with over 10 major automakers, supporting more than 20 mass-produced models, including those from FAW Group, SAIC Motor, Dongfeng Motor, BAIC Group, GAC Group, Geely, Great Wall Motor, and JAC Group.

ExceedData has launched a range of data intelligence applications, including intelligent diagnostic solutions, autonomous driving shadow mode, a no-code cloud data analysis platform, smart thermal management, and micro-collision detection. These applications have already attracted orders from several automakers.
