Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 20, Changan Automobile’s new energy vehicle brand DEEPAL officially released its second sedan, the DEEPAL L07, onto the market with six variants priced between 151,900 yuan and 173,900 yuan.

The new model offers both range-extended electric (REEV) and all-electric (BEV) power options and features Huawei’s advanced intelligent solutions, including three variants equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE intelligent driving system.

The DEEPAL L07 boasts a large body, with dimensions of 4,875mm in length, 1,890mm in width, 1,480mm in height, and a 2,900mm wheelbase.

It replaces the traditional dashboard with a 55-inch AR-HUD and features advanced configurations like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, Deepal OS, a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, 50W wireless fast charging, and a voice assistant.

In terms of power, the L07 REEV is powered by a BlueCore range extender with 44.28% thermal efficiency, providing two variants with CLTC-rated ranges of 230km and 300km using only battery power, and a total range exceeding 1,400km. The L07 BEV includes a 185kW motor paired with a 56.12kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a range of 530km.

As for intelligent driving, the L07 is the first mid-sized sedan to feature Huawei's Qiankun ADS SE system, which offers highway navigation with features like smart lane changing, obstacle avoidance, and adaptive speed control. Non-ADS SE versions of the L07 include advanced parking assistance and adaptive cruise control.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
