Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 19, Horizon Robotics announced its continued collaboration with Chery on integrating the Journey 6 series smart computing platform into Chery’s vehicle models under Chery’s four main brands—Chery, EXEED, JETOUR, and iCAR.

The Journey 6 series, Horizon Robotics’ latest in-car computing solution, is designed to meet the demands of mass-produced smart vehicles, offering six variants: Journey 6B, 6L, 6E, 6M, 6H, and 6P.

Among them, the Journey 6B stands out for its cost-effective active safety system, attracting interest from major Tier 1 suppliers like Bosch, Denso, NavInfo, and others. The Journey 6E and 6M cater to the mid-level smart driving market, supporting highway NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) and urban smart driving, which attracted cooperation projects with nearly ten automaker/brands. Meanwhile, the Journey 6P focuses on high-level urban smart driving scenarios, capable of handling full-stack computing tasks such as perception, decision-making, and control.

Earlier this year, Horizon Robotics’ technologies were already incorporated into Chery vehicles. The Chery STERRA ET, which hit the market on May 9, features the Journey 3 solution, enabling advanced driver-assistance functions such as highway navigation, lane change control, and automated parking. Similarly, the JETOUR X70 PLUS, which was released onto the market on July 29, is equipped with Level-2 smart driving assistance system powered by Horizon Robotics' Journey 2.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
