Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 19, Dongfeng Motor’s premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH officially released its new DREAM MPV onto the market, offering four variants in both plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) and all-electric versions. The model is priced between 329,900 yuan and 449,900 yuan.

Deliveries for the Kunpeng edition began immediately, while the Qiankun edition will be available starting in November.

A key highlight of the new VOYAH DREAM is its integration of Huawei's HarmonyOS smart cockpit and Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0 intelligent driving system. This system includes advanced hardware like LiDAR sensor, three millimeter-wave radars, 11 HD cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, totaling 27 high-precision sensors.

The ADS 3.0 system leverages a General Object Detection (GOD) network, significantly enhancing the vehicle’s ability to understand and respond to complex driving scenarios, such as navigating around crossing vehicles, bicycles, and e-bikes.

The interior also features a major redesign. The dashboard now includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel paired with two 15.4-inch displays, simplifying the user interface. The center console has been optimized, eliminating the electronic gear shifter in favor of a column-shift design.

Powering the PHEV version is VOYAH’s latest Lanhai Power PHEV technology, which delivers a maximum power output of 420 kW and a peak torque of 840 Nm. It offers a battery-powered range of 235 km under CLTC conditions, with a combined range of up to 1,411 km and a fuel consumption of just 5.42 L/100 km when the battery is depleted.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
