[SMM Analysis: Soaring High! Domestic Aluminum Billet Production Hits a New High in August] In August 2024 (31 days), the total nationwide production of aluminum billets reached 15.13 million tons, an increase of 86,000 tons or 6.0% from July 2024 (31 days). Compared to the same period last year, it increased by 157,000 tons, or 11.6%. The operating rate of domestic aluminum billets in August was 58.2%, up 2.9% month-on-month. The average daily production of domestic aluminum billets in August increased by 3,000 tons month-on-month to approximately 49,000 tons per day...
