Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 13, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Li Auto announced the production of its 100,000th Li L6 vehicle.

Since its market launch on April 18, 2023, the Li L6 has achieved rapid production milestones, with the 10,000th unit rolling off the line on May 15, and the 20,000th unit by May 31. It took Li Auto less than four months to produce the 20,000th to 100,000th L6 vehicles, reflecting its strong market performance.

The Li L6, positioned as a premium mid-to-large SUV for young families, offers two configurations, the Pro and Max, both featuring all-wheel drive systems. The model is priced between 249,800 yuan and 279,800 yuan.

Its design aligns with the family style of the Li L series, closely resembling the Li L7 but in a slightly smaller package, measuring 4,925mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,735mm in height, with a 2,920mm wheelbase.

The interior of the Li L6 includes a dual-screen setup powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, dual wireless charging pads, an 8.8L onboard refrigerator, front-row seats with ten-point massage, ventilation/heating, CN95 filters with antibacterial and anti-mold features, a panoramic sunroof, and nine standard airbags.

Under the hood, the Li L6 features an extended-range hybrid electric system with a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender and dual electric motors for intelligent all-wheel drive. The range extender delivers a maximum power of 113 kW and is paired with a 35.8 kWh battery pack, providing a battery-powered range of 172 km. Both battery variants utilize lithium iron phosphate batteries supplied by Sunwoda or CATL.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
