BYD launches M6 MPV model in Thailand

On September 9, BYD officially launched its latest multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) model, the BYD M6, in Bangkok, Thailand, according to a press release from BYD.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 9, BYD officially launched its latest multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) model, the BYD M6, in Bangkok, Thailand, according to a press release from BYD.

This all-electric MPV is equipped with a 204-hp electric motor, delivering a maximum torque of 310 Nm. Powered by a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, the M6 boasts an impressive NEDC-rated range of 530 km and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds, making it suitable for both urban commuting and long-distance journeys.

Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD's Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, emphasized the vehicle's significance during the launch event, stating: "The BYD M6 is more than just a vehicle model—it's a testament to our commitment to Thai consumers. We understand the high demands of the Thai market for family vehicles. From the very beginning, the M6 was designed with a focus on space, comfort, and smart features. We believe the M6 will offer Thai families a new travel experience, becoming an indispensable part of their daily lives."

The BYD M6 features an elegant and streamlined exterior design, offering a six-seater layout. The dimensions—4,710 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm—ensure a spacious and comfortable interior. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 12.8-inch rotating multimedia screen, and a Keyless entry system, adding convenience and sophistication.

In terms of safety, the M6 comes with BYD's Blade Battery, an automatic emergency braking system (AEB), and blind-spot monitoring (BSD), ensuring comprehensive protection for both drivers and passengers.

With its generous seating and versatile storage options, the BYD M6 meets the diverse needs of family travel. Whether for daily city commutes or weekend family road trips, the M6 promises a superior level of comfort. The panoramic sunroof and advanced multimedia entertainment system further enhance the enjoyment of every journey.
