DONGFENG BOX electric vehicle model debuts in Hong Kong, China

On September 5, Dongfeng Motor officially launched its DONGFENG BOX model in the bustling Kowloon district of Hong Kong at the Olympian City Mall, the automaker announced via WeChat on Monday.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On September 5, Dongfeng Motor officially launched its DONGFENG BOX model in the bustling Kowloon district of Hong Kong at the Olympian City Mall, the automaker announced via WeChat on Monday.

The debut also featured other popular new energy models such as the VOYAH DREAM and DONGFENG 007, marking Dongfeng Motor's formal entry into the Hong Kong market. The company aims to offer Hong Kong residents more convenient, eco-friendly, and intelligent mobility solutions.

Dongfeng Motor has established advertising across key areas of Hong Kong and opened POP UP showrooms in Tsuen Wan and Wan Chai, with a joint showroom in Kowloon Bay also ready to serve customers. By the end of 2024, Dongfeng Motor plans to open a 2,000-square-meter user center in Yuen Long, providing sales, delivery, and after-sales services to fully meet consumer needs.

The DONGFENG BOX targets markets in Southeast Asia, Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Central Asia. In the first half of this year, the BOX made appearances in European markets including Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. According to the company, the European-specific BOX began production in July, with the first batch of 2,000 units being shipped to Europe.

Recently, right-hand drive versions of the BOX were showcased in Southeast Asian markets such as Nepal and Malaysia.
