Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 3, GAC Trumpchi announced that it will launch the world's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) model equipped with 4C supercharging technology by the end of this year. This groundbreaking model will also debut the next-generation "Magazine Battery." The announcement was made on September 3 at the launch ceremony of Huawei Digital Power's Supercharging Alliance and the Mount Everest Supercharging Station.

At this year's Auto China 2024, GAC Trumpchi introduced its "EV+" worry-free solution, designed to address all stages and scenarios of electric vehicle usage. Built on this EV+ solution, GAC Trumpchi and Huawei have partnered to advance their co-creation initiative, driven by GAC's in-house R&D and Huawei's smart technology. The goal is to establish a superior smart ecosystem in China, providing users with a more convenient and worry-free smart electric vehicle experience.

As one of the founding members of the Supercharging Alliance, GAC Trumpchi is now seeing the commercial application of the alliance's achievements. This partnership with Huawei strengthens the supercharging network, ensuring robust support for the energy replenishment of GAC Trumpchi's new energy vehicle models.

According to GAC Group, its next-generation Magazine Battery offers "ultra-fast charging" capabilities, reaching 80% of battery capacity in just 8 minutes of charging. Additionally, the battery is highly adaptable, compatible with various charging stations across different regions and brands. It can be charged at any open charging point and makes more than 86% of fast-charging stations in first-tier cities capable of supercharging operations.
