Bayuquan District's Phase II Distributed Photovoltaic Project Achieves Full Grid Connection, Boosting Clean Energy and Environmental Protection

The second-phase project of the county-wide distributed photovoltaic power generation in Bayuquan District has achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation. The project, developed and constructed by Yingkou Power Plant, adopts the model of "self-generation and self-consumption, with surplus electricity sold to the grid". It supplies the power grid with approximately 9.69 million kWh of clean electricity annually. This not only saves about 2,920 tonnes of standard coal, but also reduces carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 7,920 tonnes, which is of profound significance for optimizing regional energy structure and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction.

POSCO approves definitive agreement with Australia’s Anson for North American DLE project
