This week's total rebar inventory is 5.1644 million mt, down 370,100 mt WoW, down 6.69% MoM, and down 23.13% YoY.
This week's social rebar inventory is 3.7034 million mt, down 304,200 mt WoW, down 7.59% MoM, and down 23.67% YoY.
This week's in-plant rebar inventory is 1.461 million mt, down 66,000 mt WoW, down 4.32% MoM, and down 21.75% YoY.
This week's total wire rod inventory is 1.2429 million mt, down 121,500 mt WoW, down 8.91% MoM, and down 20.29% YoY.
This week's social wire rod inventory is 665,300 mt, down 50,800 mt WoW, down 7.1% MoM, and down 16.37% YoY.
This week's in-plant wire rod inventory is 577,600 mt, down 70,700 mt WoW, down 10.9% MoM, and down 24.37% YoY.

This week, ferrous metals were in the doldrums, with coking coal and coke staging a mid-week rise. At the beginning of the week, financial markets experienced sharp fluctuations, dragging down sentiment in the ferrous chain and leading to a pullback in futures. Mid-week, Indonesia's cut to coke production quotas drove coking coal and coke futures to lead the gains, though the impact was more pronounced on thermal coal, while coking coal's rise was largely sentiment-driven and short-lived. In the latter part of the week, finished products continued their seasonal inventory buildup, and support from the raw material side weakened, causing the entire ferrous chain to pull back. In the spot market, with the Chinese New Year holiday approaching, purchasing activity slowed down further, with end-users only making limited, as-needed purchases at low prices.
