India's Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd. is venturing into the aluminum forging industry to serve the electric vehicle market. According to foreign media reports, the company's board of directors has approved this plan. They plan to invest INR 575 million to establish their first plant in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, with an annual production capacity of 3,000 tonnes. The plant is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26. Senior officials from the company revealed that upon the commencement of operations at the new plant, an additional revenue of INR 1.75 billion is projected annually.
