The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Department of Electronics and Information Technology guided the China Electronics Standardization Institute to officially launch the "Basic Carbon Footprint Database and Accounting Platform for Photovoltaic Industry Products" in Beijing, marking the initial establishment of China's carbon footprint accounting system for the photovoltaic industry. This provides a full-chain technical support for the carbon footprint accounting of the photovoltaic industry, ranging from standard basis, factor data acquisition to accounting software application. It holds significant significance in enabling photovoltaic enterprises to conduct precise and efficient carbon footprint accounting of photovoltaic products, promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction, and driving the overall green and low-carbon development of the industry.
