Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 30, 2024, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, unveiled its third model, the AVART 07, at the Chengdu Motor Show 2024, with presale kicked off at the same time.
The AVATR 07 is the brand’s first model offering both all-electric and range-extended powertrains, positioning as a smart and luxurious urban SUV.
The AVATR 07 boasts a distinctive design, featuring a 0.618 golden ratio of axle length, a 1.23 width-to-height ratio, and a 0.48 wheel-to-height ratio. Its futuristic design is highlighted by a floating body style, disc-wing front fascia, and highly recognizable full LED starlight curve headlights, paired with high-definition electronic exterior mirrors, merging design and technology seamlessly.
The SUV offers a 2,940 mm wheelbase and an impressive interior length of 3,119 mm. The rear seats can fold flat, transforming the space into a 3-square-meter bed, offering versatile options for both seating and reclining.
Inside, the AVATR 07 features a unique digital surround cockpit with zero-gravity front seats, Huawei’s Harmony immersive four-screen technology ecosystem, and a seamless panoramic far-end screen.
The AVATR 07 is equipped with the “Taihang Intelligent Chassis,” combining top-tier hardware with proprietary software algorithms that integrate driving, chassis, and power domains, enhancing the driving experience with improved comfort and safety. The chassis features high-strength, lightweight aluminum alloy double-wishbone front and H-arm rear multi-link independent suspension.
On the other hand, the vehicle’s advanced chassis control technologies include the iGVC intelligent cornering vector control system, iSTC intelligent steering torque control system, magic carpet suspension, CST 2.0 all-scenario comfort braking system, and dual-motor smart assistance for U-turns.
As the embodiment of the advanced CHN strategy, the AVATR 07 combines the latest resources and technologies from Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, including the Kunlun smart range extender system, Taihang intelligent chassis, Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 3.0 smart driving system, and HarmonyOS smart cockpit, as well as CATL’s Shenxing 4C ultra-fast charging battery and advanced range-extended battery.
