[Xinjiang Tianye Plans to Build a New 350,000-ton/year Ion-exchange Membrane Caustic Soda Plant] On August 23, the Eighth Division Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued a public notice regarding the approval opinions on the environmental impact assessment documents for the Smart Eco-Photovoltaic Coupling Green Special Resin Low-carbon Transformation and Upgrading Demonstration Project (Phase I) of Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co., Ltd. The project plans to build a 350,000-ton/year ion-exchange membrane caustic soda plant and a 500,000-ton/year polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin plant.
