Dongfeng eπ007 530Air goes on sale at Chengdu Motor Show at 131,600 yuan

On August 30, Dongfeng Motor’s eπ new energy vehicle range released the eπ007 530Air edition variant to the market at the 2024 Chengdu Motor Show, with an official starting price of 131,600 yuan.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 30, Dongfeng Motor’s eπ new energy vehicle range released the eπ007 530Air edition variant to the market at the 2024 Chengdu Motor Show, with an official starting price of 131,600 yuan. The 530Air edition is positioned as the new entry-level battery-electric variant (BEV) in the lineup.

The Dongfeng eπ007, which debuted in March this year, is built on the Dongfeng Quantum architecture and classified as a mid-to-large new energy vehicle. It features Dongfeng’s Mach E power system. Currently, the BEV lineup includes five trim levels priced between 131,600 yuan and 199,600 yuan, while the range-extended versions (REEV) offer two models priced at 131,600 yuan and 159,600 yuan.

The eπ007 sports a minimalist design with a closed front grille typical of new energy vehicles. Its headlights house 104 LED lights and lenses, providing high visibility when illuminated. The vehicle is available in four exterior colors: Interstellar Black, Space Grey, Moonlight White, and Gold Orange.

The side profile of the eπ007 features a fastback silhouette with hidden door handles. The car measures 4,880 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,915 mm.

Inside, the eπ007 offers a clean, button-free interior design equipped with a fully digital flip-up instrument cluster and a large central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chipset. Some models come with features such as 8-point massage seats, an intelligent fragrance system, and 64-color ambient lighting.

For power, the eπ007 BEV include both a single motor rear-wheel drive and a dual motor all-wheel drive setup. The newly launched 530Air rear-wheel drive edition boasts a motor with a maximum power output of 160 kW and a peak torque of 310 Nm. It is equipped with a 56.83 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a CLTC range of 530 kilometers on a full charge.
