Yongmaotai Halts 200,000-Tonne Silicon-Aluminum Alloy Project in Yunnan, Citing Market & Operational Challenges

After consultation with the government of Yanshan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Yongmaotai Company decided to terminate the investment and construction of the project of producing 200,000 tons of silicon-aluminum alloy and its deep processing annually. Both parties reached a consensus that due to the impact of market environment, raw material security, energy identification and other factors, continuing to promote the project would not achieve the expected goals.
