Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 25, Chery's JETOUR brand officially released its Shanhai L6 plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) SUV onto the market. The new model is available in three variants, with prices ranging from 123,900 yuan to 144,900 yuan.

Positioned as a compact SUV, the Shanhai L6 is equipped with Chery’s Kunpeng 1.5TD engine paired with a CVT Super Electric Hybrid DHT, offering a battery-powered range of 125 km and a combined driving range of up to 1,400 km.

JETOUR also revealed its upcoming product plans. Two different editions of the JETOUR Traveler model will hit the market in 2025, alongside the modified versions of the T-1 and T-5 models. Additionally, a modified P-5 pickup truck is slated for market release in 2026.

In terms of dimensions, the Shanhai L6 measures 4,630 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,684 (1,690) mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

Inside, the vehicle features a striking interior design, including an embedded full-LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and an AI voice assistant. Other notable features include cloud-feel sofa seats, a Sony 9-speaker sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, a 540-degree panoramic camera, a power tailgate, and L2 intelligent driving assistance.

As JETOUR's first plug-in hybrid compact SUV, the Shanhai L6 is powered by Chery’s advanced Kunpeng Super Hybrid C-DM technology, which combines a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, delivering a maximum engine power of 115 kW and a top speed of 180 km/h. The inclusion of a ternary lithium battery enhances its battery-powered range, catering to consumers' growing demand for eco-friendly transportation.
