[Sodium-ion Battery: Progress of Meilian New Materials' Prussian Blue Cathode and Other Sodium-ion Battery Projects] On August 22, 2024, Meilian New Materials (300586.SZ) responded to investors' questions on the investor relations platform, stating that the company has provided samples of Prussian blue cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries to Great Power Energy, but has not yet reached a cooperation agreement with them. Additionally, Meilian New Materials and Qicai Chemistry have jointly invested RMB 2.5 billion to construct a "180,000-ton annual production project of battery-grade Prussian blue (white)." The company has also made significant expansions in its separator business, with 300 million square meters of wet separator production capacity already in operation and plans to add another 400 million square meters, bringing the total planned capacity to 1.3 billion square meters.
