Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD's Chilean distributor, ASTARA Group, recently celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store in Lo Barnechea, Santiago, according to a press release of BYD. This marks BYD's ninth store in Chile, where the company has already introduced nine models of all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Cristián Garcés, Brand Manager of ASTARA Group, expressed enthusiasm about the new launch: "we are happy to open the most important branch in the country of a 100% electric brand. This store is the most representative image of BYD, due to its technology, design and ample space with all our models on display. It is a milestone that allows our customers to experience first-hand the technology and performance of our full range of vehicles."

The BYD Chile flagship store offers a customized car-buying experience, featuring a coffee area, Wi-Fi zone, large screens showcasing BYD's technology, and design elements that reflect the brand's identity. The store's grand opening also showcased the latest model to hit the market, the BYD Yuan Pro (locally named BYD YUAN PRO in Chile). Additionally, BYD introduced a new app specifically designed for Chilean users, offering a variety of remote vehicle control features to enhance the convenience and enjoyment of owning a new energy vehicle.

Cristián Garcés added, "In an increasingly competitive market, our priority remains offering the most competitive products, supported by a diverse product lineup, to provide customers with a personalized viewing, purchasing, and ownership experience. The opening of this flagship store underscores our commitment to driving green development in Chile. Moving forward, BYD will continue to offer local users greener, more efficient transportation options."
