Brazil Launches Anti-dumping Probe into Chinese Cold-rolled Coils, Citing Domestic Industry Concerns

[Brazil Initiates Anti-dumping Investigation on Cold-rolled Coils from China]: On August 19, the Secretariat of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Foreign Trade, and Services of Brazil issued Notice No. 43 of 2024, announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into cold-rolled coils originating in China in response to an application submitted by domestic Brazilian enterprises on April 23, 2024.

The period of investigation for dumping covers from January 2023 to December 2023, while the period of investigation for injury spans from January 2019 to December 2023. The notice takes effect from the date of its issuance.
