Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 16, Dongfeng Nissan and JD.com’s auto service platform JD Auto officially signed a strategic partnership agreement in areas such as official flagship stores, omni-channel vehicle sales, and car maintenance service networks, thereby creating a new model for automotive services.

JD.com, a leading e-commerce platform in China, brings strong resources and innovative capabilities in automotive sales, services, and finance. Through this partnership, Dongfeng Nissan will utilize JD Auto's industry-leading digital capabilities to develop a new online-to-offline retail model, offering users a seamless digital transaction experience and significantly enhancing terminal sales service capabilities.

The first step in this collaboration is the launch of Dongfeng Nissan's official flagship store on JD.com’s online shopping platform on August 16. Users can now purchase maintenance packages, consumable parts such as batteries and tires, and other essential items directly from the e-store. These products can be redeemed at any Dongfeng Nissan authorized dealership, providing customers with a convenient channel for purchasing original services and parts online.

In the realm of car maintenance, Dongfeng Nissan will collaborate with JD Auto's "JD Car Maintenance" service network and its integrated supply chain capabilities. Together, they aim to build a more comprehensive service network in the aftermarket sector.

Dongfeng Nissan has been deeply rooted in the Chinese market for 21 years, serving over 16 million users nationwide. JD Car Maintenance, with its extensive omni-channel layout, operates more than 1,000 offline stores across the country. By combining their resources, Dongfeng Nissan plans to expand service points in underserved areas, enhancing its service network and providing users with more convenient and personalized car maintenance experiences.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
