Xiaomi EV nears completion of 2024 summer testing

On August 15, Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun announced on his personal Weibo account that Xiaomi EV's 2024 summer testing is nearing completion. Lei Jun, along with Xiaomi's President Lu Weibing, will visit the Xiaomi summer testing base in Turpan to review the results of this year's summer tests.

China's Jan.-Jul. automobile export volume jumps 28.8% YoY

For the first seven months of 2024, China's automobile exports amounted to around 3.262 million units, jumping 28.8% from a year earlier, according to data by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM). In July alone, the country exported roughly 469,000 vehicles, representing a 3.2% drop month-on-month, but showing a 19.6% growth year-on-year.
