Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese V2X service provider Yoocar Technology recently signed an investment agreement with the Administrative Committee of Changzhou National High-Tech Zone in Jiangsu Province. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Yoocar's expansion within the autonomous driving sector.

Under the agreement, Yoocar's subsidiary, Yoocar (Changzhou) Network Technology Co., Ltd., has been officially registered in Xinbei District, Changzhou, and will serve as the operational hub for this project. Yoocar (Changzhou) will be responsible for constructing the necessary infrastructure to support autonomous driving cloud services, providing automaking clients with a comprehensive range of services, including basic computing power, platform services, and a closed-loop toolchain for autonomous driving data. The Changzhou High-Tech Zone will offer supporting policies aligned with its industrial advantages to facilitate this project.

Yoocar plans to utilize NVIDIA's GPU products as the backbone of its cloud service center, ensuring reliable and efficient cloud services. The platform will deliver powerful computational resources to enable the efficient development, upgrading, and iteration of autonomous driving algorithms.

Leveraging its leading position in the intelligent connected vehicle industry, with over 10 million connected vehicles served, Yoocar aims to reduce costs and increase efficiency in Robotaxi operations. Additionally, Yoocar's advanced technologies, including end-to-end 5G dual SIM, AI large models, and integrated vehicle-road-cloud solutions, are expected to transform Changzhou into a demonstration zone for the autonomous driving and intelligent vehicle industries, attracting more partners to co-create the future of autonomous driving.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
