[SK Hynix CEO: Demand for Memory Chips Will Remain Strong Until Early Next Year]

SK Hynix CEO Kwon Oh-jung said that due to the strong demand for high-performance memory chips such as HBM, the memory chip market will maintain an optimistic trend for some time, and it is expected that the memory chip market will continue to be active until early next year. SK Hynix believes that with the expansion of the AI market, the demand for memory will continue to grow next year, and has formulated a proactive strategy to address it. SK Hynix plans to supply 12-layer HBM3E samples to major customers this quarter and start mass production, and will launch 12-layer HBM4 developed in cooperation with TSMC in the second half of next year.
