Excelsior Energy Capital Secures 2.2GWh Deal with Fluence Energy for US Energy Storage Projects, Boosting Domestic Supply Chain

[Overseas Renowned Energy Storage Giant Wins a Major Contract of 2.2GWh!] Recently, Excelsior Energy Capital, a new energy investor, has reached an agreement with the renowned energy storage enterprise Fluence Energy to purchase 2.2GWh of energy storage systems for energy storage projects in the United States starting from 2025. Meanwhile, the project will use domestically produced batteries, modules, and support systems in the United States.

Under the agreement, Excelsior will deploy Fluence's Gridstack Pro energy storage series products to provide stable capacity and flexible power, thereby supporting a more resilient American power grid. These projects are expected to promote the development of domestic supply chains for key clean technology manufacturing industries in the United States and directly support employment and battery energy storage production capabilities in the country. It is reported that the battery modules will be produced by Fluence in Utah.
