GAC Group, Volcano Engine forge strategic partnership on cloud service, digital marketing, smart cabin

This strategic partnership marks a significant step in the duo's joint exploration and innovation in intelligent automotive technology.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, GAC Group and Volcano Engine, the cloud service platform under ByteDance, held a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement, under which both parties will leverage their respective industry strengths to engage in deep collaboration across areas such as cloud services, digital marketing, intelligent cockpits, and overseas coordination, according to a post on GAC Group's WeChat account.

This strategic partnership marks a significant step in the duo's joint exploration and innovation in intelligent automotive technology.

During the discussions, the Volcano Engine team presented their industry practices and examples in cloud computing and large models. They expressed their commitment to providing comprehensive support for GAC Group's overseas market expansion strategy. This includes backing GAC's overseas marketing activities and the construction of digital platforms with solutions such as multilingual translation, multi-time zone management, and cross-border data compliance. These efforts aim to help GAC Group better adapt to different market environments, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient, and stable operations in its overseas business, and driving innovative breakthroughs in the global market.

Tan Dai, President of Volcano Engine, emphasized during the talks, "We understand that in the highly technology-intensive and innovation-driven automotive industry, each technological advancement can trigger significant industry changes.
