[200MW/400MWh! Full-capacity Grid Connection of the Largest Domestic String-type Energy Storage Power Station] Recently, the Three Gorges Binhai Energy Storage Project has successfully achieved full-capacity grid connection and operation, marking it as the largest string-type energy storage power station in China. With a total installed capacity of 200MW/400MWh, the Three Gorges Binhai Energy Storage Project is located in the Binhai Port Industrial Park in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. Leveraging the flexibility and rapid response of string-type electrochemical energy storage technology in power generation regulation, the project participates in grid peak shaving, which can not only effectively alleviate the pressure on the grid and reduce the difficulty of grid control but also significantly lower coal consumption and emissions of harmful gases such as carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide, thereby bringing remarkable environmental and ecological benefits.
