Xiaomi EV likely to fulfill 100,000-vehicle annual delivery target ahead of schedule

Xiaomi EV announced that it delivered over 10,000 SU7 vehicles in July 2024, and the monthly deliveries is expected to exceed 10,000 units in August as well. The carmaker also said it is likely to fulfill the initial annual delivery target of 100,000 units ahead of schedule in November.

Great Wall Motor posts 3.6% YoY rise in Jan.-Jul. 2024 sales

Great Wall Motor announced this week that its new vehicle sales reached 91,285 units in July 2024. For the first seven months of this year, the automaker sold 650,954 vehicles in total, representing a 3.6% year-on-year growth.

AVATR scores 103% YoY soar in July 2024 delivery volume

AVATR, the high-end smart electric vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, announced that it delivered 3,625 vehicles in July 2024, marking a year-on-year surge of 103%. For the Jan.-Jul. period, the carmaker delivered a total of 32,655 vehicles.

Leapmotor achieves highest-ever monthly deliveries in July 2024

In July 2024, Chinese new energy vehicle maker Leapmotor set a new monthly delivery record with 22,093 vehicles sold, marking a 54.1% year-on-year surge. As of early July, Leapmotor has cumulatively delivered over 400,000 vehicles.

ZEEKR's car deliveries zoom up 89% YoY in Jan.-Jul. period of 2024

In July 2024, ZEEKR, the premium electric vehicle brand under Geely Holding, delivered 15,655 new vehicles, marking a 30% year-on-year jump, but facing a 22% month-on-month decline, according to the carmaker's sales results. From January to July this year, ZEEKR delivered a total of 103,525 vehicles, achieving an 89% soar compared to the same period of last year.

Chery Holding sees monthly auto sales jump 30.1% YoY in July 2024

Chery Holding Group ("Chery Holding") achieved remarkable sales figures in July, selling a total of 195,759 vehicles, representing a year-on-year jump of 30.1%.

Geely Automobiles scores two-digit YoY surge in both July NEV sales, export volume

Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("Geely Automobile" or "the Group") announced that its total sales volume reached 150,782 vehicles in July 2024, rising around 13% over the prior-year period. Among the vehicles the Group sold last month, new energy vehicles (NEVs) accounted for a sales volume of 59,051 units, indicating a remarkable year-on-year leap of 58%.

BYD's passenger vehicle export volume soars 65.2% YoY in July 2024

BYD reported an export volume of 30,014 passenger vehicles for the month of July, indicating a 65.2% year-on-year surge.

ZEEKR, Mobileye to speed up technology cooperation in China

On August 1st, Zeekr Intelligent Technology (ZEEKR) and Mobileye jointly announced plans to accelerate the localization of Mobileye's technology in China. Building on their successful collaboration over the past few years, the two companies aim to integrate Mobileye's technology into the next generation of ZEEKR vehicles, thereby furthering their state-of-the-art driving safety and automation there and in the global market.
