Samsung SDI Ships First Solid-State Batteries for EV Testing, Eyes Full-Scale Production by 2027

[Samsung SDI has delivered the first batch of solid-state batteries] Lithium battery giant Samsung SDI displayed its latest battery technology at the SNE Battery Day exhibition in Seoul, South Korea. Samsung SDI stated that its first batch of solid-state batteries have been delivered to electric vehicle manufacturers and have been tested for about six months. Samsung SDI plans to fully mass-produce all-solid-state batteries by 2027, covering all aspects from development, production line construction, project launch to supply chain management.
