【Chinese Scientists Achieve New Breakthrough in Research on All-Solid-State Lithium Batteries】A research team from the Qingdao Institute of Biomass Energy and Bioprocess Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences recently made a new breakthrough in the field of all-solid-state lithium batteries, potentially bringing the dream of smaller and longer-lasting electronic devices to reality. This achievement was published in the international academic journal "Nature Energy" on July 31. The research team has developed a new material - a homogenized cathode material (lithium-titanium-germanium-phosphorus-sulfur-selenium), which boasts advantages such as high conductivity, high energy density, and long service life compared to traditional materials. This research provides technical support for the development of energy storage devices with high energy density and long service life, offering safe and durable power sources for new energy vehicles, energy storage grids, deep-sea and deep-space equipment, among others. It is of great significance for the development of new energy storage systems.
