AI-driven autonomous driving service provider MAXIEYE recently announced the establishment of its new sub-brand Qiantu®.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- AI-driven autonomous driving service provider MAXIEYE recently announced the establishment of its new sub-brand Qiantu® (name in Chinese pinyin), focusing on commercial vehicle autonomous driving. This marks a significant step in MAXIEYE's strategic expansion into smart mobility solutions for commercial vehicles.

Qiantu® aims to address the unique needs of the commercial vehicle sector by emphasizing safety and efficiency. The brand will offer tailored autonomous driving solutions and technology development services to support the intelligent upgrade of commercial vehicles throughout their lifecycle.

Leveraging MAXIEYE's extensive experience in R&D and commercialization, Qiantu® introduces two comprehensive autonomous driving solutions, namely, Qiantu Anxing™ (Safety as a Service) and Qiantu Zhika™ (Benefits as a Service). These solutions cover essential functions such as enhanced AEB compliance, intelligent fuel-saving cruise control, and NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) for long-haul logistics, along with digital operation solutions for accident reconstruction, data loops, and cloud-based intelligence.

Qiantu Anxing™

Specifically, Qiantu Anxing™ focuses on full-time operational safety for commercial vehicles, offering high-performance and reliable autonomous driving solutions. It integrates smart front-facing cameras and millimeter-wave radar for AEB, LKA (Lane-keeping Assist), and blind-spot monitoring. The enhanced AEB system stands out with its superior visibility, precision, and stability, addressing long-standing challenges in commercial vehicle safety.

Another key feature of Qiantu Anxing™ is its data intelligence. The video "black box" can reconstruct accident scenes frame by frame, aiding in accident investigation and driver behavior analysis. It also supports cloud-based data management for commercial vehicle operations.

Qiantu Zhika™

Qiantu Zhika™, building on comprehensive safety, offers advanced NOA autonomous driving solutions tailored for long-haul logistics, focusing on fuel efficiency and ease of use. The NOA fuel-saving mode optimizes speed planning for different road segments, incorporating memory mapping for iterative route updates, surpassing traditional fuel-saving cruise controls.

Additionally, Qiantu Zhika™ NOA inherits MAXIEYE’s Qingyun BEV network architecture, providing a smarter decision-making experience in autonomous driving. This is the first application of the BEV paradigm in commercial vehicles.

Notably, Qiantu Zhika™ will introduce end-to-end algorithms to enhance long-haul logistics from perception to cognition. This innovation will increase single-driver daily capacity from 800km to over 1,000km, significantly boosting long-term efficiency in the logistics sector.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
