Last week, P-type and N-type solar cells were priced the same, and 18x solar cells were priced the same as the 210 series solar cells. The pickup volume from module manufacturers increased, leading to a decrease in inventory at major battery makers. Solar cell prices stabilized. Currently, high-efficiency PERC 182 solar cells (23.2% efficiency and above) were priced at 0.29-0.30 yuan/W; PERC 210 solar cells were priced at around 0.29-0.30 yuan/W; Topcon 182 solar cells (24.7% efficiency and above) were priced at around 0.28-0.295 yuan/W; Topcon 210RN solar cells were priced at 0.29-0.30 yuan/W; Topcon 210 solar cells were priced at 0.29-0.30 yuan/W, with the lowest price for Topcon solar cells with over 25% efficiency being 0.29 yuan/W, making further price drops unlikely. PV module production in August may see an increase, with specialized cell makers seeing an improvement in orders. However, orders are concentrated among top-tier manufacturers, while second and third-tier battery makers have fewer direct sales and outsourcing orders, focusing mainly on reducing inventory.

[SMM PV News] EU Approves €500M Cleantech Scheme for Luxembourg
The European Commission has approved a €500 million state aid scheme for Luxembourg to support the manufacturing of clean technologies, including solar, wind, and batteries. Operating under the Clean Industrial Deal State Aid Framework ('CISAF'), the initiative will provide direct grants to local companies until December 2030. This marks the first 'CISAF' scheme for a small Member State. The funding aims to expand local capacity, boosting efforts by companies like 'Solarcells', which recently began producing Luxembourg's first domestic solar panels. This follows similar 'CISAF' approvals for Greece (€400 million) and Germany (€3 billion) to accelerate Europe's net-zero transition.

[SMM PV News] Premier Energies Starts Trial Production at 5.6 GW Module Plant
Premier Energies Ltd has started trial production at its 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Seetharampur, Telangana, producing G12R TOPCon modules with zero-busbar ('0BB') architecture. This new 75-acre factory boosts the company's total module capacity beyond 10 GW. The highly automated plant can produce up to four modules every 16 seconds and uses 'AI'-powered fault detection. Company executives highlighted the facility's role in scaling integrated manufacturing and supporting India's clean energy goals. Premier Energies is also executing a $1.38 billion capital expenditure plan over three years to double its capacity, expand into ingots and wafers, and diversify into inverters and battery systems.
