Huawei, SERES-backed AITO rolls off 400,000th vehicle

On July 29, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, celebrated the production of its 400,000th new vehicle and the delivery of its 70,000th M9 vehicle.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On July 29, AITO, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Huawei and SERES, celebrated the production of its 400,000th new vehicle and the delivery of its 70,000th M9 vehicle.

Since the start of large-scale deliveries, over 70,000 units of the AITO M9 have been produced and delivered. AITO achieved the production milestone of 400,000 new vehicles in just 28 months.

The three-year collaboration between SERES and Huawei has resulted in the creation of three premium models, providing 400,000 users with high-end smart vehicles, validating the success of their business model. Moving forward, both companies plan to deepen their partnership, leveraging their respective resources and strengths to co-define, co-design, and co-market AITO-branded vehicles, aiming to establish AITO as a leading brand in the new-generation luxury car segment.

To achieve this goal, both parties will continue to increase their investment in the AITO brand. In terms of sales and channel capacity building, SERES is committed to developing a new quality ecosystem and plans to establish over 600 user centers by 2027.

In user operations and services, SERES and Huawei will capitalize on their expertise and advantages in user experience and operations to collaborate deeply on building AITO’s user operation capabilities. This partnership aims to enhance the overall user experience and solidify AITO's position in the luxury automotive market.
