China's Gold Production Reached 179.634 Tons in the First Half of 2024, Up 0.58% Year-on-Year" — According to a report released on July 28th on the China Gold Association website, China's domestic gold production from raw materials amounted to 179.634 tons in the first half of 2024, representing an increase of 1.036 tons or 0.58% year-on-year compared to the same period in 2023. Specifically, gold production from mines totaled 141.496 tons, while by-product gold from non-ferrous metal industries totaled 38.138 tons. (Caixin Media)
